   Amityville Sports Chiropractor Jeffrey Poplarski will be directing the 2014 U.S. Open Golf Championship Wellness Team at Pinehurst Country Club in Pinehurst, North Carolina from June 9-15, 2014.  This year marks his tenth year directing the Championship’s Wellness Team.

   This year his team consists of 130 health care providers, including Doctors of Chiropractic, massage therapists, acupuncturists, hyper-baric therapy technicians and physical therapy modalities. His team will be offering treatments to the caddies, players and volunteers at this year’s U.S. Open in two separate wellness tents at Pinehurst.

The Golf Club at Middle Bay is Ready and Open to the Public

Lloyd Shulman and his sister Gail Koster have taken on the role of investing their own money into this South Shore gem known as Middle Bay. This club devastated by Sandy is now being run by the property owners of over 50+ years.

As the director of golf and a club professional here for over 14 years I see significant changes already and who better to take on this task then the person who has a passion for the property that has been in his family for over a half a century. Dr. Jeff Poplarski to Teach Golf SMASH in Town of Oyster Bay

Dr. Jeff will be offering a 8 week long term athletic golf development program (LTAGD) for ages 8-12 year old. The program will focus on the SMASH ZONE which is our unique junior golf school for the learn to train junior golf phase. SMASH stands for the Golf Training of Stability, Mobility, ABC’s (Agility, Balance, Coordination, and Speed) Sport Skills and Hone your golf skills. The program will consist of a dynamic golf warm up and 10 deliberate golf practice stations which will include putting, full swing, chipping, throwing, horizontal striking, ground based striking, wrist release, upper and lower body mobility and stability and the ABC’s (Agility, Balance and Coordination) This unique program is one of the first to be offered on Long Island
