Golf & Body NYC Partners With Eligo Club to Create New Membership Options

Members of both clubs will gain access
to exclusive golf experiences in and around New York City
Golf & Body NYC the private club in midtown Manhattan that offers golfers the ultimate setting for enhancing their performance—has entered into a partnership with Eligo Club, the exclusive invitation-only private-membership club that offers access to great golf courses around the world.

Founded five years ago in Europe and recently expanded into the U.S., Eligo—which in Latin means, “to select”—uses golf as a platform for its members to network and entertain friends and business colleagues at the finest private clubs and courses. The association with Golf & Body NYC is one more way Eligo’s members will be able to enjoy a private and prestigious golf experience.

“Golf & Body is an elite facility run to the same high standards as the other clubs we offer access to,” says Tom Guy, Eligo’s Director of Golf for North America. “Fitness is an important part of golf and Golf & Body provides our members with the best possible training facilities, and much more, when they’re in New York, one of the world’s most important business cities.”

For members of Golf & Body, the Eligo Club can help facilitate rounds of golf on some of the top courses around New York City—a tough market for players who don’t already belong to a private club—as well as courses in Europe and Asia.

“If our members choose to add Eligo to their current memberships, they can access great courses close by and far away,” explains Jeannine Harrington, General Manager of Golf & Body NYC. “With Eligo, we can offer another part of the private-club experience to our members. Since we opened, Golf & Body has been the best place in New York for golfers to get better and get fit. Now we offer our members the opportunity to get out to play with their friends and business associates at some of best courses in the area. It’s a very exciting venture for us.”

Members of both clubs will be offered many different ways to make use of the other’s playing and training options.

“Golf & Body offers a perfect synergy with the Eligo Club,” says Guy. “Our members will love Golf & Body and its members will love Eligo. We are combining a private city club with the rest of the world, and we are confident that members of each will derive great pleasure and benefits from the other.”
